Round-Up Wednesday (May 20, 2015)

Round-Up Wednesday (May 20, 2015)

It’s Wednesday. Either you’re jumping for joy that you’ve made it to Wednesday, or you’re wondering why it’s only Wednesday and the weekend is so far away. I feel your pain. Depending on the Wednesday, I feel the one, the other, or both. Since we could all use a Wednesday pick-me-up, I’m here to help. Each week I’ll be sharing what caught my eye that week: videos, articles, projects, how-to. Whatever!

Enjoy your first batch.

This is my favorite image from last week. It’s of Sydney Engelberg, a psychologist professor in Jerusalem, that picked up a crying baby and continued to teach his lecture. It was such a sweet gesture and you can read more about the picture HERE and HERE.

This story of a bully who apologized 20 years later made me pause. I loved the message that it’s never too late to reach out and ask for and to give forgiveness all because a child asked about bullying. You can read the article HERE.

I see lots of amazing hair tutorials out there that I wish I could rock. In all honesty, I know a) I don’t have the skills and b) I really don’t have the time. Which is why I’m glad I found thid great list of 10 #LazyGirl Hairstyles for Chic Vacation Hair from Brit+Co that I actually think I can do. I’m planning on rockin’ #3 and #6 this weekend.

#FreeToFail is a movement I can get behind. Like many of you, I have a fear of failure so this honest article from Yellow Conference about failure—and that it’s ok to fail—touched a cord.
