Round-Up Wednesday (November 18, 2015)
After tragedies we need a little reminder that there is still good in the world. Of all the stories that came out of the attacks in Paris, this one touched my heart the most. It’s hard enough for adults to process the unthinkable atrocities and understand that their world has shifted—they just don’t know how or why. This father, though had the best response, “They might have guns but we have flowers.”
We have flowers. WE HAVE FLOWERS. And in those flowers we have the promise of goodness and beauty and, of course, hope. That phrase, has stuck with me and I knew that I just needed to have it as a reminder. Feel free to download our free printable and use it as a reminder that the world still has flowers.
