Send mom your thanks

Send mom your thanks

If we’re to go by all the advertising we see leading up to Mother’s Day, we’d assume what our mom wants is something ridiculously expensive. Really what most of our moms want is to know they’re doing a good job.

And if we’re honest, most of us aren’t very good at telling our mothers all those things we’ve love about them or what they’ve taught us. We just assume that they know these things. But there is great power in hearing these words and we need to tell her—and tell her frequently.

Instead of buying your mother a gift she probably doesn’t want, take the time to write a heart-felt letter listing all those things she does well and why you love her. Be specific in your praise (we all love hearing specifics).

To help you write a heartfelt letter, we’ve created these free printable cards that force you to think of something specific, because let’s be honest, you’re not going to leave the front of these cards blank!

Don’t forget one for grandma!

A heartfelt letter deserves a beautiful envelope. Using our Shaving Cream artwork (find instructions here) create these beautiful marbled envelopes. While they look impressive, they’re actually very easy to make. Win! In fact, if you want to get the kids involved this is a perfect way to do so.
