Round-Up Wednesday (June 3, 2015)
Anybody else constantly amazed by the sheer volume of stuff you can find on the web? I could spend days watching cat videos, taking dumb internet quizzes, getting caught up on what’s trending, and, of course, finding that one thing that tugs at my heartstring and reminds me of all the good out there.
This guy is hilarious with a capital H. I found him years ago and have been faithfully readying his blog since and the people he talks about have become friends—even though I’ve never meet them IRL. Well, take that back. Last week I was eating dinner at the same restaurant and did take a picture of him in line to send to my friends who are It Just Gets Stranger fans.

Man, Dick Van Dyke looks amazing for being almost 90! Yes, 90! If watching him get out and dance doesn’t make you want to tap your toes and throw a dance party, I don’t know what will.
Reading: TO THE MOMS OUT THERE: JUST STOP IT
This article hit a cord with A LOT of people out there, me included. Yes, it’s great to be all creative and give your best. Are the overachieving moms hurting our children? What happens to the child whose parents can’t due to financial or time restraints. What happens to the child who is embarrassed to throw a party for his friends because he knows there is no extra money to spend on elaborate gift bags, party decorations, or activity? Does he have to miss out on these childhood memories? How does the single mom, who is already struggling with feeling overwhelmed, bypass all constant bombardment that she doesn’t measures up? Food for thought.
